| Cayos Cochinos dive trip |
| |
In a one hours boat ride you reach a small group of islands nestled away in miles of undisturbed coral reef. Pristine mountains rising from the sea, majestically poised just beyond delicate sand cays. 5 miles before Cayos Cochinos we do our first dive on one of 3 Sea Mounts. The mounts come to within 40 feet of the surface and are the size of football fields. The mounts offer the biggest schools of fish in the Bay Islands.
After lunch on Cochino Grande we take a nature trail through the tropical rainforest to a lookout for spectacular views of the rainforest and surrounding islands.
The second dive is on Pelican Point.

For those who decide that scuba diving can be more than a recreational endeavor and are interested in exploring the professional potential it may hold, acquiring the PADI Divemaster rating is an essential step in the process. The process of becoming a divemaster encompasses many things, including honing your underwater skills, learning to recognize and head-off potential problems, becoming well-versed in dive theory and practical information and learning how to help divers and students enjoy diving even more.
